On August 1st, 2026, we will be celebrating our wedding at the beautiful Domaine du Marchais Bouchet, near Saumur.
We chose this wonderful venue, captivated by its charm and its bucolic setting… and we can’t wait to share it with you!

The Venue
✨ An exceptional place for a unique day ✨
To celebrate our wedding, we had a real crush on the Domaine du Marchais Bouchet, just a stone’s throw from Saumur.
This venue, both elegant and authentic, is surrounded by greenery and bathed in the gentle Anjou atmosphere.
It is here, in this idyllic setting, that we will exchange our vows during a secular ceremony filled with emotion… before continuing with a festive evening that will last until the end of the night.
Where to Stay
🏕 Where to sleep during the wedding? 🏕
The region is full of lovely places for every taste and every budget: charming cottages, welcoming guesthouses, Airbnb rentals, comfortable hotels… and even campsites with bungalows for nature lovers. You’ll easily find your little home away from home near the venue.
For those who prefer to stay “on site”, the Domaine du Marchais Bouchet also offers a dedicated area where you can pitch your tent, park your van or camper — perfect for being “right at home” after the party!

For this special day, we wish for a harmonious and bright atmosphere 🌿

🎨 Solid colors only, no patterns. Feel free to choose the shades you love: all colors are welcome…

How to get to us?
🚗 By car
Gennes-Val-de-Loire is located halfway between Saumur and Angers, along the D751 that follows the Loire River.

From Paris: allow about 3h30 via the A11 (exit 2 Beaufort-en-Vallée) or the A85 (Saumur exit).

From Angers: 35 minutes by car.

From Saumur: 20 minutes.
Parking is available right next to the venue, and several areas in the village allow easy parking.
🚆 By train
The nearest train stations are Gennes – Les Rosiers or Saumur, located on the Saumur ↔ Angers line.

From Paris-Montparnasse, head to Saumur or Angers Saint-Laud (TGV, about 1h40), then take a TER to Gennes (10 to 20 min).
We can arrange a shuttle from the station if needed — just let us know in advance.
🚶 On foot
For the bravest or lovers of the Loire by bike:
the village is crossed by the Loire à Vélo cycling route and the GR3 trail, both offering superb views over the valley.
🐴 On horseback
Riders are welcome!
Equestrian paths cross the countryside and follow the Loire River.
A secure area is available to tie up or accommodate horses during the ceremony (just let us know beforehand).

🌙 After midnight – For the brave (and the night owls), the venue remains accessible to keep enjoying, chatting, and remaking the world together.
A driver will be available on Saturday to bring you back to your accommodation safely.
Sunday morning – Brunch to prolong the pleasure 🥐☕
